LDS Dems - Idaho
We're an official chapter of LDS Democrats of America and a recognized caucus of the Idaho Democratic Party. We promote the participation of Latter-day Saints in the Democratic Party. Like the Democratic Party, we're a big tent and a proud home for LDS or Non-LDS members across the political spectrum!

Executive committee
Interim Chair - Ethan Sanford
Born in Tennessee and raised in southern Ohio, Ethan is currently a sophomore at Brigham Young University-Idaho. A Political Science major (with a minor in Creative Writing, Ethan has lived full-time in Idaho since January of 2024.
Having fallen in love with the state back in 2020 when he first began college, Ethan returned to Idaho right after his mission to complete his college education and begin a career of public service. A lifelong buff of American Presidential history, he is dedicated to helping ensure that government is "of the people, by the people, and for the people" (President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address).
He enthusiastically accepted the position of Interim Chairman of the newly relaunched LDS Caucus of the Idaho Democratic Party to help create and fosture a healthy, beneficial relationship between party, government, and religion.
